About the Somerset Hills

Somerset Hills Athletic Club: The
opportunity is presenting itself for all men and women
with a vision to get in on the ground floor of a major
event.
We are developing an "A"
level 12/14 and under group of young men and ladies who will work hard to make the
community
of Somerset Hills proud.
The Somerset Hills
Athletic Club endeavors toward
discipline, diligence in school work and respect for
their community will serve we hope, for young ladies as
an example in all walks of life. Teamwork and a
commitment to win is our goal. As you are aware, small
acorns grow into large oak trees. The future for these
young ladies offers a chance to grow in all directions
especially with the discipline of teamwork and learning
to be competitive and to accept winning and losing with
dignity.
The Somerset Hills
Athletic Club was formed as the
first and only travel and tournament softball program in
Somerset Hills stressing physical fitness and softball
skill in a competitive atmosphere. We believe this will
be a six-year program with an emphasis on being a feeder
program to the local middle and high school softball
teams.
In the world that we know today full of turmoil, it is
our hope that by engaging all children in all sports we
will help them to prepare for a future that is one of
fulfilled expectations.
We are aware of other highly competitive organizations
in all sports that charge thousands of dollars per year
per child. The Heat is working very diligently at
keeping expenses low. Our fees include training,
equipment, tournament fees, and uniforms, bringing in
professional instruction, renting gym space and batting
cages, entering a league and much, much more. We will
develop players at multiple positions and supervise
their development. Please support your organization.
This plan will not work
without you. All parents must also practice with their
children at home. Any young lady with a desire to learn
and play competitive softball will be afforded the
opportunity.
